PCL Construction has appointed Ryan Kuntz as Operations Manager for its Edmonton Buildings & Civil team, strengthening the district’s leadership as its project portfolio continues to grow. Kuntz brings more than 20 years of experience with PCL, with expertise in complex project delivery, operations and client relationships. A graduate of NAIT’s Construction Engineering Technology program and a Certified Technician (C.Tech.), Kuntz began his PCL career in Edmonton in 2004 before relocating to Calgary in 2015. In his new role, he will work with project teams, preconstruction and leadership to improve performance, collaboration and consistent project delivery across the Edmonton region. Jason Portas, Vice President and District Manager for PCL Edmonton Buildings & Civil, highlighted Kuntz’s operational experience, understanding of PCL’s business and ability to build strong teams and partnerships. Kuntz’s return to Edmonton reflects PCL Construction’s continued investment in experienced leadership to support regional growth. He succeeds Ben Wagemakers, who is transferring to PCL in Saskatoon.
