Canada’s construction sector is launching a new way to recognize the people who make complex projects run smoothly. The inaugural Site Service Awards will spotlight the go-to individuals in every company — the problem-solvers, fixers, marketers, boots on the ground, HR pros, and teammates whose expertise and dedication keep the industry moving forward.
Nominations are open now. Visit the Site Service Awards website to nominate yourself or someone from your team or network.
“These awards are about celebrating the doers, the people behind the scenes who lift everyone around them,” says the awards team. “So often, professionals critical to the success of a project fall through the cracks of other awards programs. We want that to change.”
As project delivery grows more complex, success increasingly relies on a wider range of roles beyond the traditional job site. That includes drone operators, marketing specialists, accounting experts, human resources coordinators and many more.
“Not only will these awards honour these individuals, they will showcase the diverse career paths the industry has to offer,” added SiteNews editor Russell Hixson. “As builders look to attract the next generation of talent, we think the Site Service Awards can help open minds to the opportunities the industry can provide.”
Winners will be profiled across print and digital issues and celebrated at a gala dinner in Vancouver.
With the Site Service Awards, SiteNews is recognizing the people who often do not get as much spotlight but whose contributions are critical to the industry. Nominate someone incredible today here.
