Sediment is matter that settles at the bottom of reservoirs, affecting water storage and quality. In order to ensure a reservoir’s extended lifespan, precise mapping and continuous tracking of sediment accumulation is crucial. The Toyama Prefecture Land Improvement Business Association Federation in Japan, commonly known as Midori Net Toyama, conducted a case study at an agricultural reservoir, assessing the impact of photogrammetry on accumulation tracking. We spoke with an engineer and a manager from Midori Net Toyama, to gain further insights into the results. The Austin Chapter of the Associated General Contractors (Austin AGC) has partnered with Mercator.ai to provide AI-aggregated insights that reduce project pursuit research from weeks to minutes. The company’s customer base grew 3x in Q1 2024, with significant increases in revenue and order volume, and supports integration with top accounting software.

Elie Douna has secured $800,000 in funding to launch HomeBuildersReviews, a platform aimed at reforming the Australian construction industry. This platform will provide verified reviews of developers, builders, and suppliers, enhancing transparency and accountability. The funding will support the development and launch of the site and app, scheduled for August​.
