Construction leaders from across Canada will gather in Toronto from October 30–31, 2025 for the inaugural Best Practices in Construction Symposium, hosted by the Canadian Construction Association (CCA). This first-of-its-kind national event is designed to equip construction professionals with actionable tools, expert strategies, and innovative practices that can immediately improve project delivery.

With a strong lineup of speakers, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, the Symposium will address some of the most pressing challenges facing the construction sector today. Attendees will explore key topics such as greener building practices, data-driven decision-making, project management innovations, equitable procurement, and collaborative contracting models.

“The Best Practices in Construction Symposium is built for the people who are building Canada,” said Rodrigue Gilbert, CCA President. “We’re offering hands-on, skills-based programming that will help participants deliver better outcomes and raise industry standards across the board.”

This highly interactive event is tailored to professionals looking to make immediate improvements on their job sites and within their organizations. The content is designed to bridge gaps between the office and the field, with insights that reflect both operational and strategic needs across the construction lifecycle.

In addition to its rich educational programming, the Symposium offers added value through professional accreditation. Attendees can earn two credits applicable to Gold Seal Certification (GSC) or Professional Gold Seal Certification (P.GSC), making the event not just a learning opportunity but a career-enhancing one as well.

As Canada enters a critical phase of infrastructure development and economic growth, the CCA’s Symposium serves as a platform to ensure that the construction industry rises to meet national demands with innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
