Every year on April 28, we pay tribute to the countless individuals who have tragically lost their lives, suffered an injury, or been stricken by illness while on the job or due to their work. This day, marked as the National Day of Mourning in Canada, serves as a reminder of the need to prioritize safety in every workplace, regardless of industry.
On April 28, 2023, at 11 a.m., IHSA staff and training participants will pause for a moment of reflection as we remember and honour the lives lost, and we invite you to do the same.
We all have a role to play in ensuring a safe work environment, and at IHSA, we reaffirm our commitment to continuously prioritize health and safety in the workplace.
