Women and Drones will host a multi-author book signing during Commercial UAV Expo 2026, bringing five authors together to discuss the future of uncrewed aviation, workforce development, safety and STEM education.
The book signing will take place at Women and Drones Booth #340 throughout the three-day event, September 1–3, 2026, at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.
Attendees will have opportunities to meet Desi Ekstein, Jennifer Pidgen, Dr. LaQuata Sumter, Dr. Renee Welch and Sharon Rossmark. Each author will have dedicated signing times to meet attendees, discuss their work and sign copies of their books.
The authors address issues that are becoming increasingly important as commercial drones and advanced air mobility evolve, including workforce development, aviation safety, STEM education and industry leadership.
“These are the voices shaping how our industry thinks about people, not just platforms,” said Sharon Rossmark, Founder and CEO of Women and Drones and author of Future Flight: How Talent, Capital and Manufacturing will Shape the Next Era of Uncrewed Aviation.
Rossmark emphasized that workforce development, safety and STEM education are foundational to the industry’s continued growth.
Commercial UAV Expo brings together commercial UAS professionals, technology providers and industry decision-makers. For Women and Drones, the book signing provides another way for attendees to explore the human side of an industry frequently focused on aircraft, software and emerging technologies.
“We welcome everyone to stop by, say hello, and get their book signed,” Rossmark said. “It’s a great opportunity to connect with leaders who are shaping the future of our industry.”
