Window of opportunity to facilitate the efforts of Canadian companies in exploring the Belt and Road Initiative opportunities

The Belt and Road Initiative is a visionary blueprint that seeks to enhance global economic development, and reinvigorate the seamless flow of capital, goods and services by promoting international connectivity and forging new ties among communities. It offers unprecedented business opportunities in such sectors as infrastructure, transportation, logistics, financing and investment. It will also unfold a myriad of opportunities for companies to promote products and services across international boundaries. These opportunities are also for Canadian companies to tap.

In order to assist interested Canadian companies to get well-informed of the Initiative, to meet relevant project owners, investors and partners, and to position their companies strategically to tap the opportunities, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council Toronto Office, in partnership with the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO), Hong Kong-Canada Business Association (HKCBA), Invest Hong Kong (IHK) and other like-minded Canadian multipliers, would like to invite Canadian companies to join the 4th Canadian Belt and Road Mission to Hong Kong scheduled for September 10 – 13, 2019.

This mission is suitable for participation by those who are involved in land transportation, banking and financial services, logistics and maritime services, professional services, infrastructure development, international trade and manufacturing as well as those who would like to gain first-hand updates on the Initiative and meet relevant government and business contacts. The mission programme will include participation in the 4th Belt and Road Summit http://www.beltandroadsummit.hk/en/index.html and additional optional value-added programmes.

For more details of the mission, interested parties please contact Andrew Yui, Director, Canada, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, at email: andrew.yui@hktdc.org or Tel: 416-366-3594.
