Watersense videos - IAPMO
July 20, 2022

What Does It Take To Get A Product WaterSense® Certified?

The IAPMO Group has launched a series of videos demonstrating the procedures for testing WaterSense® toilets, showerheads and lavatory faucets. These consumer-oriented videos show the extra steps manufacturers take to reduce the consumption of water while still providing the expected user experience.

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) and IAPMO have long led the development and codification of water-efficient products and systems, including working closely with the U.S. EPA on the various WaterSense provisions.

The city of Los Angeles has recognized IAPMO for its “endless dedication and commitment to providing the standard of plumbing and sanitation, all in an effort to protect public health and safety throughout the world.”
