Trifecta Collective LLC, a tradeshow-focused platform backed by private equity firm GreyLion, has officially acquired the Canadian Concrete Expo (CCE) – Canada’s premier event for the concrete, construction, and aggregates industries. This strategic acquisition marks a significant expansion for Trifecta, reinforcing its commitment to growing high-value, industry-specific events.

The 7th annual CCE, held on February 12–13, 2025, at the International Centre in Toronto, was a major success. The event hosted over 350 exhibitors, attracted 7,000+ attendees, and spanned 120,000 net square feet of exhibit space. The 2026 edition is already scheduled for February 11–12 at the same venue.

Stuart Galloway, President of the Canadian Concrete Expo and the event’s primary shareholder, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition:

“We’re coming off a tremendously successful 2025 show and are thrilled to share this exciting announcement as we embark on a bold new chapter with Trifecta Collective.”

Galloway will remain in his leadership role, and the current CCE team will continue to oversee event operations, ensuring continuity in service and experience for exhibitors and attendees alike.

Rick McConnell, CEO of Trifecta Collective, welcomed the CCE into its growing portfolio:

“CCE is an excellent addition to the Trifecta portfolio. Our vast experience in the tradeshow and construction industries is an excellent fit to continue the positive trajectory of CCE.”

The acquisition of CCE marks Trifecta Collective’s fifth major event acquisition, following its previous transactions involving the North American Trailer Dealer Association, the International Mass Timber Conference and Report, TRANSACT, and the launch of the TrailerTech Expo.

The transaction was facilitated by Gord Carley of GC Media Brokers, representing the Canadian Concrete Expo. Nicholas Curci of Corporate Solutions represented Trifecta Collective.
