The RONA+ banner has arrived in Québec

RONA inc., one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers operating or servicing some 425 corporate and affiliated stores under different banners, recently celebrated the grand opening of RONA+ Hull, located at 95 Atawe Street in Gatineau (QC). The store in Hull is the first in the province to convert to the new banner, as part of the company’s pilot project. The conversion of the former Réno-Dépôt Hull store to the new RONA+ banner is an important step in a wider plan aimed at redefining how Quebecers shop for home improvement, and represents a significant local investment.

“As always, our priority is to offer the best possible experience to our DIY and Pro customers, whom we will continue to serve with the same passion. With this conversion, we are making a major investment and renewing our commitment to the iconic RONA brand,” says Isabelle Laliberté, Senior Vice-President, Corporate Stores – Quebec at RONA inc. “I’m confident that the opening of this first RONA+ store will have a positive impact on both customers and the company, paving the way for the arrival of this new brand in Québec.”

“Plusses” that enhance customer experience

RONA+ in Québec is the result of two strong Québec brands–RONA and Réno-Dépôt–joining forces to offer Quebecers an enhanced home improvement experience. RONA+ offers DIYers and decorators, as well as Pro customers, thousands of low prices, an incredibly stylish range of products, flexible payment options and much more.

Among the “plusses” available is the launch of new “shop in shop” spaces showcasing brands customers know and love. These spaces reflect the company’s desire to redefine how Quebecers and Canadians shop for home improvement products. These include spaces dedicated to the DeWalt, EGO and Worx brands, as well as a brand-new partner for RONA: Quebec-based company Bouclair, which now has an exclusive section in three RONA+ stores, including RONA+ Hull. This collaboration with a local company that makes it a priority to feature Canadian design will allow RONA to reinforce its position in style and design with an expanded product offering.
