SBC is pleased to announce 2 new members to the Board, Sarah Keyes and Leith Moore. Sarah and Leith bring extensive experience in thought leadership, non-profit management and sustainable buildings solutions. 

Sarah is a Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) with over a decade of work experience as a thought leader, consultant and auditor. Before joining ESG Global Advisors as a Principal, Sarah held senior roles at PwC, MNP and the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) working with the energy and mining sectors. She has deep expertise in the business and financial impacts of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and climate change issues. Sarah has a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University with distinction, certification in ISO 14064-3 for greenhouse gas audits, and she received the 2018 Emerging Leader Award from CPA Ontario. She also sits on the Board of Directors of Leading Change, a not-for-profit focused on catalyzing youth toward sustainable development.

Leith is a graduate of the School of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Waterloo and continued his relationship with the school as an adjunct professor through 2016. He is also Past Chair of BILD, Past President of OHBA and Past Chair of Evergreen. Leith has served on two Provincial Advisory Panels – the Golden Panel (Transit Investment Advisory) and the Crombie Panel (Co-ordinated Land Use Planning Review). He is a past member of the Ontario Greenbelt Council by appointment of the Minister of Municipal Affairs. Leith co-founded R-Hauz Solutions Inc. in 2018 to provide affordable housing solutions for urban families and allow them to self-solve their housing needs. Leith founded Waverley Projects Inc. in 2016 as a project management and development company focused on creative ground-oriented infill development and midrise transit-oriented development opportunities in the GTHA. Previously, as Senior Vice President Development, Leith led the diversification of the Fieldgate Homes Brand (2014-2016) into the mid-rise market with Fieldgate Urban. He was Vice President of Development for the Sorbara Group of Companies (1985-2014) and managed land development and servicing, low rise housing (Orchard Ridge Homes) and high-rise condominium housing (Sorbara Group) for the company.
