The Saskatchewan government has awarded PCL Construction a $898 million contract for a new tower at Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert. This expansion will enhance the hospital’s capacity from 173 to 242 beds, featuring a heliport, expanded emergency department, and new medical imaging and cultural spaces. The project, significant for Prince Albert, is expected to create 500 specialized jobs and is set to begin in spring, with completion anticipated by 2028.
