For the 11th consecutive year, members of the RONA network came together to support pediatric cancer research by participating in the 2026 Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau, raising an impressive $415,000 for children and families across Québec.
Held from July 4 to July 10, 2026, the annual cycling event united 67 RONA employees, affiliated dealers, and vendor partners, who collectively rode more than 6,000 kilometres in support of the Fondation Charles-Bruneau’s mission to advance childhood cancer research.
As one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers, RONA continues to demonstrate its commitment to giving back through initiatives that strengthen communities and support meaningful causes.
Amélie Savoie, Vice-President of Merchandising at RONA and captain of the RONA cycling team for the past five years, praised the dedication of everyone involved.
“I am incredibly proud of the commitment shown by our employees, affiliated dealers, and vendor partners who once again came together to help build a healthier future for children across Québec. Every cyclist and every donation represents hope for families facing childhood cancer.”
Among all Tour participants, Amélie Savoie once again achieved the highest individual fundraising total, reflecting the strong support of RONA’s employees, business partners, and supplier network.
During the event’s closing ceremony, she thanked everyone who contributed to the campaign.
“When we work together, we create real impact. Thanks to the generosity of our vendors and the entire RONA network, we’ve once again supported a cause that is deeply meaningful to all of us.”
The annual Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau has become an important tradition for RONA, highlighting the company’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, community engagement, and improving the lives of children and families.
With more than 425 corporate and affiliated stores across Canada, RONA continues to encourage employees, affiliated dealers, and partners to make a positive difference both inside and outside the communities they serve.
