RONA inc., one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers, operating and servicing over 425 corporate and affiliated stores, recently celebrated the grand opening of its RONA+ store in Kelowna, British Columbia. With this latest conversion, the company continues its transformation to offer an enhanced customer experience and improve the way Canadians shop for their construction and home improvement projects.

“I am extremely proud of our team’s hard work to convert this store in a record time of twelve weeks. This location has been serving the residents of Kelowna and its surroundings for over 25 years, and the tradition will continue under the RONA+ banner. The store underwent a major makeover in the past few weeks to focus on its new offerings, such as an expanded PRO department that now features two full sections entirely dedicated to the pro customer. In addition, customers can now enjoy a new program in the kitchen department with a wide array of demos, a revamped look in the seasonal, tools, millwork, plumbing and flooring departments, and an overall modernization of the store. Like all other RONA+ locations, the Kelowna store offers better value to local shoppers thanks to an enhanced selection and flexible payment options. On top of these changes, the store now also features a Scotts Shop in Shop, a first in RONA’s network of stores in Canada.
