rFoil Introduces 2290 Reflective Duct Insulation

The rFOIL® 2290 Reflective Duct Insulation is made of a double-layer of polyethylene bubble, bonded to and sandwiched between two radiant barrier sheets. It is designed to reduce radiant heat gain/lost in residential duct applications. It helps control condensation by providing an airtight thermal break around the ductwork. The rFOIL® 2290 is clean, safe, environmentally friendly, easy to handle and install and will not harbor mold, mildew or fungi.

The rFOIL® 2290 Duct Insulation is ideal for increasing system efficiency, lowering stress on HVAC equipment and reducing energy usage and cost. Its thin profile allows for the same R-value as traditional fiberglass insulation but with less material thickness. This allows for a greater ceiling height within the dwelling space of any standard construction build.

The rFOIL® 2290 Duct Insulation is suitable for all types of metal ductwork in both residential and commercial application.
