Resolve, a leading virtual reality solution for the construction industry, has unveiled a powerful new feature that brings Autodesk Construction Cloud, a portfolio of software and services that combines advanced technology, a builders network and predictive insights for construction teams, directly into its VR (Virtual Reality) application for Meta Quest. Now, construction project teams can interact with content hosted in Autodesk Build, and Autodesk Docs while fully immersed in Resolve’s 3D virtual environment.
With the new App Portal, Resolve users can interact with Autodesk Build and Autodesk Docs, allowing them to access critical project information without leaving the VR headset. Content such as 2D drawings, photos, issues, files, and videos can now be accessed within Resolve’s app for Meta Quest.
By combining 2D and 3D data, Resolve helps construction professionals identify and resolve potential issues more effectively, improving project outcomes.
The new integration builds on the success of Resolve’s first integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud which allows teams to open any model stored within Autodesk Build or Autodesk Docs in VR.
“Resolve facilitates the immersive design reviews and coordination meetings that keep project stakeholders aligned across every stage of construction,” said James Cook, director of industry and technology partnerships at Autodesk. “Embedding Autodesk Construction Cloud within Resolve enhances that experience by making critical project data readily available, leading to improved decision-making.”
