Graham - nisutlin bay bridge
May 9, 2022

Replacing the Nisutlin Bay Bridge

Graham has recently been awarded the Nisutlin Bay Bridge replacement project, the largest capital project in Yukon history. Valued at $160M, this is an incredibly important crossing for the Teslin community and serves as a critical transportation link along the Alaska Highway.

“Graham Indigenous Relations truly appreciates the support of the Teslin Tlingit Leadership, Clan representatives, Village of Teslin and the Yukon Government in this historic project to bring local legacy building economic development opportunities.” says Terry Mitchell, Director, Indigenous Relations.

The new, environmentally sustainable bridge will boost safety for drivers and pedestrians and will accommodate increased traffic volumes. It will also handle larger loads of commercial and strategic goods to supply the Yukon and Alaska. We are proud to be replacing such a critical piece of infrastructure.

Jason Rudyk, Operations Director, Infrastructure Major Projects shared “We are excited about this project and what it means for the future of infrastructure in Yukon communities. We look forward to the mutual collaboration with our partners to deliver this project.”
