Pitt Meadows Plumbing & Mechanical Systems Ltd. (PMP) is proud to announce the appointment of Gordon McDonald as its new Construction Design Manager, further strengthening its commitment to innovation and integrated project delivery.

With over 20 years of design leadership and multidisciplinary project experience from top global engineering consultancies, Gordon brings deep expertise in aligning construction design with advanced building practices. His addition marks a strategic step for PMP as it continues to advance industrialized construction, prefabrication, and BIM-integrated workflows.

In his role, Gordon will collaborate closely with PMP’s BIM, prefabrication, estimating, and project delivery teams to enhance the seamless integration between design and construction. His leadership will help drive early project collaboration and improve delivery efficiency—key pillars of PMP’s mission to rethink how mechanical systems are designed and built.

Gordon officially joined PMP on October 1, 2024, and has already begun engaging with internal teams while touring the company’s head office and state-of-the-art Shop XL prefabrication facility in Maple Ridge, B.C.

His arrival comes as PMP experiences significant growth across major sectors, including healthcare, education, commercial, and institutional projects. By bringing design and construction into tighter alignment, Gordon’s expertise will help PMP continue to deliver cost-effective, schedule-driven solutions that exceed client expectations.
