PCL’s featured builds include the QEII Halifax Infirmary Expansion, The Ottawa Hospital New Campus Development, CAMH Phase 1D in Toronto, Prince Albert Victoria Hospital, Yellowhead Trail Freeway Conversion in Edmonton, and The New St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver. This achievement underscores PCL’s leadership in delivering complex, multi-sector infrastructure, from healthcare to transportation. Mike Wieninger, COO of PCL’s Canadian Operations, praised the teams’ dedication and technical excellence behind these nationally significant projects. The 2026 Top 100 list marks a record year in infrastructure investment, with total project value surging from $300 billion to $343 billion—driven largely by growth in nuclear and healthcare construction. The featured projects will be celebrated at an industry event on February 24 in Toronto, recognizing the top contractors and owners shaping Canada’s future.
