As the data center construction market surges toward $1.3 trillion by 2035, PCL Construction is positioning itself for long-term leadership with the appointment of Tyler Kautz as vice president of data centers. Kautz, a nearly 20-year PCL veteran, will lead the company’s Mission Critical Center of Excellence, overseeing strategy and operations for complex, high-tech projects across North America. PCL has already delivered more than 120 mission critical projects—including Tier IV builds, large-scale retrofits, and critical environment upgrades.
As global demand for digital infrastructure accelerates, the data center construction market is projected to grow from $287 billion in 2025 to $1.3 trillion by 2035. To meet this rising demand and solidify its position as a leader in mission critical construction, PCL Construction Enterprises, Inc. has appointed Tyler Kautz as vice president, data centers, where he will lead the company’s Mission Critical Center of Excellence. Kautz takes the helm of a team that has delivered over 120 data center and mission critical projects. These include complex, large-scale retrofits, new builds (including Tier IV fault-tolerant projects) and critical environment upgrades.
