Building Transformations, a leading organization dedicated to advancing innovation in the built environment, has announced the appointment of Hannu Lindberg as the new Chair of the Board. Lindberg, a seasoned expert in construction technology and digital project execution at DPR Construction, brings over 20 years of industry experience and a proven track record of championing innovation and collaboration. His appointment signals a strong step forward in expanding Building Transformations’ influence across North America, particularly into the U.S. market.

Joining Lindberg on the 2025 Executive Committee are:

• Hammad Chaudhry, Vice Chair (Principal, Strategic Ventures, Cupix)
• Mark Cichy, Secretary & Chief Data Officer (Director of Design Technology, HOK)
• Lina Stinnett, Treasurer (Senior Integrated Construction Technology Manager, PCL)
• Brandon Searle, Past Chair (Director, UNB Off-site Construction Research Centre)

This dynamic leadership team is set to guide the organization in its mission to drive digital transformation, foster knowledge sharing, and promote cutting-edge technologies in construction and project delivery.

The Board also welcomes two newly elected members:

• Mitch Cornelius, CTO at Fortis Construction Inc.
• Patrick Lalonde, Senior Director, Digital Project Delivery at EllisDon

Their combined expertise in digital project delivery and construction technology will be pivotal in shaping the future of Building Transformations as it continues to support innovation, operational excellence, and smart collaboration throughout the built environment.

The organization also extends sincere appreciation to Brandon Searle for his outstanding leadership during his nearly two-year tenure as Chair. Under his guidance, Building Transformations refreshed its mission, strengthened its operational strategy, and cultivated new industry partnerships that accelerated innovation across the sector. The Board also thanks Nibras Yacoub, who recently concluded his role as Secretary, for his dedicated service and contributions.
