Lowe’s Canada, one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers operating or servicing some 450 corporate and affiliated stores under different banners, proudly accepted an award for the In-Store Experience & Design category (tied) during the Retail Council of Canada’s (RCC) Excellence in Retailing Awards Gala. This event celebrates Canada’s retail innovators and game changers by spotlighting accomplishments, new ideas, and the very best in Canadian retail leadership.
The award for In-Store Experience & Design recognizes Lowe’s Canada’s implementation of myredvest, an innovative self-serve and assisted checkout solution that adds value to the in-store shopping experience. Multiple teams across Lowe’s Canada designed and developed this user-friendly platform in-house and delivered it to customers and associates at 51 Lowe’s, RONA, and Réno-Dépôt stores in Canada in under two years.

Myredvest’s success positions Lowe’s Canada to develop more in-house products that enhance the customer journey.

This is Lowe’s Canada’s fourth RCC award in the last five years. During the 2021 Gala, Lowe’s Canada was awarded ex-aequo the RCC’s Omni-Channel Award for its commitment to improving customer experience on every channel. RCC finalists and award winners are selected after an extensive consideration by a jury of retail industry experts.
