Sault Area Hospital is set to receive enhanced cardiac care capabilities thanks to the donation of nearly $115,000 by local construction businesses. This collective effort, aligning with Heart Month, will fund 34 vital signs monitors. The participating businesses range from those donating a single monitor to those providing as many as 15. This initiative is a significant step towards meeting the hospital’s need for 123 monitors, with these donations funding almost a third of the requirement. The Sault Ste. Marie Construction Association encourages more industry members to contribute during February to support this vital healthcare equipment.
