The episode covers everything from the biggest factors for wear and failure, to aftermarket versus OEM and shoveling tracks after a hard day’s work. According to Rick, “Having the right undercarriage on your machine will make or break your job. Shoe width and design are such critical factors. You want the narrowest shoe possible to provide adequate flotation. That’s one of the key understandings of undercarriage.”
