Kevin Graebel of Honeywell appointed to CABA Board of Directors

The Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA) announced the appointment of Kevin Graebel, Director of Marketing & Offering Management, Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS), to the CABA Board of Directors. CABA is an international nonprofit industry association dedicated to the advancement of connected home and intelligent building technologies. Honeywell was one of the founding CABA members 31 years ago and has had representation on the CABA Board since.

At Honeywell, Graebel’s primary responsibility is to lead the offering and go-to-market strategy for the HBS services business, helping to connect buildings to the cloud using the Honeywell Forge platform. Previously, he worked in the Smart Energy and Residential (now Resideo) businesses at Honeywell, where he led the Healthy Home business with a vision for selling a broader range of air quality and awareness solutions to homeowners. Graebel has a bachelor’s degree in materials science, a bachelor’s degree in computer science with a focus on data science, and a master’s degree in business administration.

“It’s an honor to join the CABA board of directors on behalf of Honeywell,” said Graebel. “The role that buildings can play in our society is more important than ever – from creating healthier spaces for occupants to helping companies meet their energy savings goals – building technologies can help shape and reach these goals. I look forward to working with the CABA board and providing my perspective and insight.”

CABA’s President & CEO Ron Zimmer welcomed Graebel and recognized outgoing Honeywell representative on the CABA Board Debra Becker for her exceptional support for CABA, including service as the CABA Chairwoman. “Kevin will be a significant asset to our Board, given his experience in both the intelligent buildings and connected homes market, and more recently his involvement with the Honeywell Forge platform.”
