RONA inc., one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers operating and servicing some 425 corporate and affiliated stores, joins T & T Hardware Group owners, Al Tsuchiya and Michael Trentalance in celebrating the Grand Opening of the new RONA Walnut Grove Urban store. Leaders from the RONA Dealer Support team, partners, and store employees gathered at the store on June 27 to mark the occasion with the traditional board-cutting ceremony. 

Over the past year, the owners have added 2,200 sq. ft. to their hardware store, located in the Walnut Grove Community Centre. This new space, offering a total sales area of 5,500 sq. ft., allows them to display a wide variety of bathroom and kitchen products, including appliances, fashion plumbing, lighting, kitchen cabinets, and flooring. With the expansion, they have also increased their selection of building materials and plumbing products. In all, between 500 and 650 new SKUs have been added, including eco-friendly products, to better serve the local population. The RONA Walnut Grove Urban store also offers a battery and bulb recovery service to help customers dispose of these products properly.

RONA has a diverse retail offering, so it’s the perfect banner to bring our vision to life,” adds Michael.
