Ghana to Host Major Construction, Energy, and Investment Events in July

Africa Build Show 2026, alongside MegaWatt Africa 2026 and Ghana Investment and Trade Week 2026, is set to take place from July 7–9, 2026, at the Accra International Conference Centre in Ghana. Organized by MIE Events, the co-located events have secured strong backing from Ghana’s Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry and Ministry of Energy and Green Transition, reinforcing their alignment with national priorities in infrastructure development, energy transition, and economic growth.

Together, these three major forums create West Africa’s most comprehensive integrated platform for construction, energy, investment, and trade. The strategic co-location enables cross-sector collaboration, bringing together global suppliers, contractors, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders under one ecosystem to accelerate regional development and innovation.

Africa Build Show 2026 will showcase the latest advancements in construction materials, smart building technologies, MEP systems, and sustainable infrastructure solutions. MegaWatt Africa 2026 focuses on addressing critical energy challenges through innovations in power generation, renewable energy, and grid infrastructure. Meanwhile, Ghana Investment and Trade Week 2026 connects government officials, institutional investors, and global stakeholders to drive foreign direct investment, climate financing, and strategic trade partnerships across Ghana and West Africa.

The events are further supported by a broad coalition of professional associations, including the Ghana Chamber of Construction Industry, Ghana Institution of Engineering, and Ghana Institute of Architects, reflecting strong industry-wide engagement. An extensive network of international media partners also ensures global visibility and reach for exhibitors and participants.

Attendees can expect a high-value program featuring expert-led conference sessions, ministerial addresses, B2B matchmaking, live product demonstrations, and cross-sector networking opportunities. These engagements are designed to facilitate partnerships, accelerate deal-making, and provide market access to one of Africa’s fastest-growing economic regions.

As West Africa continues to experience rapid urbanization and infrastructure demand, the 2026 edition of these co-located events offers a critical platform for advancing sustainable construction, energy innovation, and investment collaboration. Industry professionals, developers, and investors are invited to participate and leverage this strategic hub for business expansion and long-term growth in the region.
