YARDZ, the leading asset management platform for construction equipment, has been selected by East and Westbrook Construction Co., Inc., a prominent heavy industrial concrete contractor operating in over 15 U.S. states. With a mixed fleet of 60% owned and 40% rented equipment, the company sought a centralized solution to improve utilization of owned assets and cut rental costs. YARDZ met that need with a robust platform offering full visibility into equipment status, usage, and logistics. According to Christof Moosbrugger, Director of Logistics and Maintenance, early adoption of YARDZ led to immediate savings by identifying overdue rentals that would have been missed. Currently tracking over 100 Caterpillar machines, the contractor expects strong ROI and operational efficiency as additional departments integrate the platform. Beyond asset tracking, East and Westbrook plans to leverage YARDZ features for tool and consumable management, logistics integration, maintenance scheduling, and OEM telematics via VisionLink.
