In Nova Scotia, Health Minister Michelle Thompson announced that construction for a new acute-care tower at the QEII Health Sciences Centre will start this spring. This project, the largest of its kind in the province, includes a modern emergency department and additional facilities aimed at improving healthcare services for future generations. Infrastructure improvements, such as a new public entrance and parking solutions, are also part of the plan, marking a significant advancement in patient care and medical infrastructure development in Halifax.
