The local construction products firm Ennova Facades has received an investment of $1.15 million from the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario to expand two plants and add 13 full-time jobs.
The investment will allow the company to add equipment to its Windsor and Amherstburg facilities, along with increasing production by 100 per cent to meet the growing demand for its products.
“Ennova is demonstrating the strength of Made-in-Canada products while boosting its competitiveness and production,” said the minister responsible for FedDev Ontario, Filomena Tassi, at a Wednesday announcement at Ennova’s Windsor headquarters.
“The Government of Canada is committed to supporting manufacturers as they evolve, grow and adapt new processes and technologies while creating good jobs for Canadians.”
Ennova is a family-owned manufacturer of custom-made exterior building products, including walls, windows and solar shades.
Founded in 2016, the firm also provides architectural design assistance and engineering services. Its products and services are used in larger projects across Canada and the U.S., such as airports, hospitals, residential and other buildings.
