Commercial UAV Expo 2026 Brings Global Drone Industry to Las Vegas

Commercial UAV Expo 2026 Arrives at a Pivotal Time for Drones

Commercial UAV Expo 2026 will bring more than 3,700 drone industry professionals and 240+ exhibitors to Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, September 1–3. Attendees from all 50 U.S. states and around the world will gather as major regulatory and trade developments reshape commercial drone operations, procurement and technology investment.

The event comes as the industry responds to proposed FAA Part 108 regulations, changes to the FCC Covered List and new Section 232 tariffs on drone imports.

Drone Regulations and BVLOS Take Centre Stage

Senior officials from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) will participate throughout the three-day conference.

Sessions will address FAA Part 108 and Part 146, NDAA compliance, the FCC Covered List and beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) drone operations. Industry experts will also examine how evolving regulations could affect fleet decisions, training, staffing and commercial drone business models.

On September 2, FAA officials will discuss how the National Airspace System is being adapted for advanced aviation technologies. Additional sessions will explore turning new regulations into practical commercial operations and implementing unmanned traffic management for BVLOS flights.

FAA and EASA Discuss the Future of Drone Operations

The conference concludes September 3 with sessions featuring FAA officials responsible for emerging technologies and operational approvals.

The closing keynote will bring together representatives from the FAA and EASA to compare U.S. and European approaches to BVLOS drone operations, providing attendees with insight into the evolving regulatory landscape.

For construction, infrastructure, surveying and reality-capture professionals, these discussions could provide valuable guidance as drones become increasingly integrated into project documentation, inspection, mapping and asset management.

Commercial UAV Expo 2026 takes place September 1–3, 2026, at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.
