The Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program awards students with a four-year degree in Concrete Industry Management and the annual auction is its primary funding source.

Contractors interested in getting started with concrete temperature and maturity monitoring can bid on COMMAND Center during the 2021 Concrete Industry Management (CIM) Auction. The Auction will be held in conjunction with World of Concrete on Wednesday, June 9, and all bidding will be done virtually.

The CIM program is a business intensive program that awards students with a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Concrete Industry Management. The annual auction is the primary funding source supporting the program, providing scholarships and hands-on industry experiences for CIM majors. The CIM program has five locations: Middle Tennessee State University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Texas State University, California State University – Chico, and the CIM MBA Program.

“The concrete industry is changing rapidly with the advancement of concrete technologies and techniques,” said Matt Pittman, COMMAND Center Product Manager. “We’re proud to support the CIM program in providing students with the skill set necessary to succeed in this industry.”

COMMAND Center donated a starter kit to the program, including 10 sensors and a Sensor Reader Module.

The CIM program reported the 2020 auction as their best ever, raising a record-breaking $1.2 million in gross revenue for program universities. Learn more about CIM and the Auction on their website.
