Atwill-Morin has completed the acquisition of most assets formerly belonging to Brook Restoration, a Toronto-based contractor specializing in high-rise, commercial and institutional building envelopes. The transaction follows Brook Restoration’s bankruptcy and was approved by the Ontario Superior Court in February 2026.
The acquisition includes equipment and existing contracts representing approximately $100 million in original contract value, strengthening Atwill-Morin’s presence in the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario construction market.
As part of the transaction, Atwill-Morin will take responsibility for more than 20 former Brook Restoration projects that otherwise faced potential disruption.
More than 140 subcontractors remain involved with the ongoing projects. Atwill-Morin says the acquisition will help protect customers’ existing investments while providing continuity for construction already underway.
Approximately 80 former Brook Restoration employees have been rehired and integrated into Atwill-Morin’s workforce, allowing skilled workers familiar with the projects to continue their work.
The additions bring Atwill-Morin’s workforce to more than 1,200 employees and add further expertise in building-envelope restoration and construction.
Atwill-Morin has operated in the Toronto market for several years, and the Brook Restoration acquisition represents the largest transaction in the company’s history.
The company views the acquisition as part of its longer-term strategy to expand its construction operations across the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario and Canada.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
