Funding is available for Canadian small and medium-sized employers.
Receive $10,000 when you hire an equity-deserving first-year apprentice or $5,000 when you hire an apprentice that is not part of an equity-deserving group. Eligible equity-deserving groups for this program include women, Indigenous people, newcomers, persons with disabilities, racialized communities including Black Canadians, and LGBTQ2+.
Use the incentive for training, equipment, salaries, or any other purpose that supports the apprenticeship.
