Ghana Investment & Trade Week (GITW) 2026 officially opened in Accra, Ghana, bringing together government leaders, investors, developers, manufacturers, and construction professionals from more than 33 countries. Co-located with the Africa Build Show and Megawatt Africa, the three-day event highlights opportunities to strengthen trade, infrastructure, renewable energy, and sustainable development across the African continent.
Held at The Palms Convention Center, this year’s event is centered on the theme: “Powering Ghana’s 24-Hour Economy: Integrating Infrastructure, Electric Mobility, and Sustainable Real Estate for Investment and Trade Competitiveness.”
The official opening ceremony was led by His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, Ga Mantse, who served as Conference Chairperson. In his address, the Ga Mantse welcomed international delegates and emphasized the importance of collaboration between traditional leadership, government, and the private sector to strengthen Ghana’s position as a leading investment destination in West Africa.
David Wang, Chairman of MIE Group, reinforced the event’s mission of connecting global partners, encouraging innovation, and creating new opportunities for investment across Africa.
The opening ceremony featured keynote presentations and policy discussions from senior government officials and industry leaders, including representatives from the Ghana Chamber of Construction Industry, Ghana Free Zones Authority, MIE Group, and the Office of the Presidential Advisor on the 24-Hour Economy.
The conference explored strategies to accelerate economic growth through infrastructure investment, manufacturing, renewable energy, sustainable real estate, and electric mobility.
