ACEC-Ontario Announces 2026-2027 Board of Directors

The Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – Ontario (ACEC-Ontario) has announced its 2026-2027 Board of Directors following the organization’s Annual and Special Meeting of Members on September 14, 2026.

The newly constituted board will provide governance and strategic direction as ACEC-Ontario implements its 2026-2029 Strategic Plan and advocates for Ontario’s consulting engineering sector.

New Directors Join ACEC-Ontario Board

ACEC-Ontario welcomed three new directors: Amy Morley of AECOM, Kim Pickett of GEI Consultants and Rachelle Plourde of GHD.

David Chamberlain, Chair of the 2026-2027 Board and Partner and Senior Director, Smart Automation / Operational & Digital Technologies at CIMA+, said the new directors bring experience, leadership and industry insight that will support the association’s work on behalf of its members.

Ben Hunter of Parsons, Sunil Kothari of AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc. and Valery Woloshyn of Stantec Consulting were also re-elected to the board.

Chamberlain said their continued experience will be valuable as ACEC-Ontario moves forward with its strategic priorities.

Supporting Ontario’s Infrastructure Priorities

The 2026-2027 board will help guide ACEC-Ontario as the organization addresses issues affecting consulting engineering firms and advocates for policies supporting infrastructure investment, economic growth and sustainable communities across Ontario.

The association’s 2026-2029 Strategic Plan places particular emphasis on proactive advocacy and increasing the value ACEC-Ontario provides its members.

Andrew Hurd, Executive Director of ACEC-Ontario, said the organization is now focused on turning the strategic plan into measurable actions through engagement with government, industry partners and other stakeholders.

According to Hurd, strengthening the association’s influence and advancing policy solutions will also help ensure Ontario’s infrastructure ambitions are supported by a strong and innovative consulting engineering sector.
