AABC Announces 2026–2028 Board of Directors and New Leadership

The Associated Air Balance Council (AABC) has installed its officers and directors for the 2026–2028 term, with Benjiman J. Link of United Testing & Balancing, Inc. returning as president.

The new leadership was installed during AABC’s Annual Meeting in Destin, Florida, as the organization celebrated the 61st anniversary of its founding. Established in 1965, AABC was created as an association dedicated to testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB) and continues to require its member companies to be independent.

Link previously served as AABC president from 2018 to 2020 and will once again lead the organization during the 2026–2028 term.

“AABC has been making some exciting strides in recent years, which I’m honored to be a part of,” said Link. “Working with such a dedicated group of board members and association members is a privilege, and I look forward to seeing how that collaboration can continue the great work this organization is doing.”

Link represents United Testing & Balancing, Inc., based in Tennessee.

Advancing Testing, Adjusting and Balancing Standards

Since its founding in 1965, AABC has maintained membership requirements designed to support independence, objectivity, integrity and technical expertise within the testing, adjusting and balancing profession.

The organization’s ongoing objective is to safeguard the reputation, competence and independence of both the Council and the TAB profession.

AABC has also worked to advance testing, adjusting and balancing procedures and services through technical papers, publications, certification programs, the AIA-approved TAB Journal and technical webinars.

These efforts contributed to the development of the AABC National Standards, described by the organization as the industry’s first ANSI-accredited comprehensive standards for field measurement and instrumentation. The standards were recently updated with the release of the eighth edition.
