The Gordie Howe International Bridge project celebrated a significant milestone of 2000 days and over 12 million work hours since its commencement on October 5, 2018. Marked by a dedication to safety and sustainability, significant advancements have been made across all project components. Notable achievements include the completion of bridge tower construction, near completion of the bridge deck, and significant progress in both the Canadian and US Ports of Entry. The project’s success is attributed to the collaborative efforts of partners, contractors, and workers. Additionally, a sticker design contest has been launched to commemorate the construction period, inviting community members to celebrate the project and its workforce.
