This year we had 13 individuals being awarded scholarships to help towards their ongoing schooling. The scholarship committee of the RDCA awarded 3-$1,000 awards, 4-$750 awards and 6-$500 awards. Out of these 13 winners this year, we had representation from 7 different trades (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Carpentry, Sheet metal, Plumbing & Gas Fitting, Electrician, Roofing and Heavy Equipment Technician), with all attending one of the following schools/organizations: Red Deer College, SAIT or ARCA.
