Official ‘Little Island’ Construction Time-Lapse from EarthCam

Little Island floats above the Hudson River in New York City – this time-lapse movie captures Hunter Roberts Construction Group’s unique 5 year project using 172,891 images.

Supported by tulip-shaped columns, and covering more than two acres, a spectacular 687 seat amphitheater rises above the undulating platform and provides dramatic, unique Manhattan views.

Watch as half a city block of unique green space rises from the river, and see 350 species of flowers, trees and shrubs get planted in less than two minutes.
