Illustrated Guide – Seismic Bracing Requirements

BC Housing developed an illustrated guide for the seismic design of houses to assist builders, house designers and other industry professionals with the lateral bracing requirements set out by the BC Building Code. These requirements improve the seismic response of a house and ensure a higher level of safety in the event of an earthquake.
