Electricity from the Ocean: Building Offshore Wind Farms in the North Sea

Germany’s largest offshore wind farms are being built in the North Sea under harsh weather conditions. Each system has up to 100 turbines that are supposed to generate climate-friendly electricity for millions of people. They are mammoth projects that are hard to beat in terms of size and complexity.
