July 21, 2023

Darryl DeAngelis of EBTRON named to the CABA Board of Directors

The Continental Building Automation Association (CABA) has announced EBTRON, a well-known pioneer in thermal dispersion airflow measurement and control technology, to the CABA Board of Directors. CABA is a non-profit industry association that conducts research and provides information, education, networking, and forums to help promote advanced technologies for intelligent buildings and the home market.

EBTRON will be represented on the CABA Board by Darryl DeAngelis, Director of Business Development. Darryl is one of EBTRON’s team of engineers and technology leaders, responsible for spearheading the company’s business development and execution strategy. Darryl expressed his excitement at serving on the CABA Council; “EBTRON is honored to be associated with such a prestigious group, and we look forward to working with fellow board members to realize their shared vision of using advanced technologies to accelerate the development of intelligent buildings. CABA members will be leaders in reducing energy and maintaining healthier buildings on the path to net zero.”

EBTRON provides state-of-the-art technologies that ensure accurate, repeatable, and long-term stability for years of reliable operation in the built environment. EBTRON is an active CABA member company and recently collaborated with several other CABA members on a market study of Healthy Buildings and Indoor Environmental Quality for release this month. Darryl’s close ties with EBTRON technology leaders make him an ideal representative for the company on the CABA board of directors. His 35 years of HVAC experience and years of active involvement in ASHRAE standards and committees, as well as many other industry organizations, give him valuable insight into the industry’s evolution, making him a great addition to the board.

“Darryl DeAngelis brings not only thought leadership but also extensive industry and technical experience to the CABA board,” said Greg Walker, CEO of CABA. “This collaboration will help fuel our mission to create the smart, healthy, sustainable buildings of the future through advanced technology.”
