Rising on an active hospital campus, the Temerty Discovery Centre will unite all of CAMH’s research programs under one roof, creating a hub designed to accelerate discovery and collaboration. Once complete, the new building will revolutionize the future of mental health research.

At the centre of this vision, our team is delivering a first-of-its-kind hybrid structural system that combines mass timber and BubbleDeck technology. This voided slab system reduces the dead weight of concrete while lowering the building’s overall carbon footprint.

Thoughtful planning, the expertise of PCL’s in-house workforce and close collaboration with CAMH, KPMB Architects and project partners are turning this complex design into a real-world solution on an active hospital campus.
