IAPMO and other plumbing and mechanical industry leaders will co-convene a webinar at 2 p.m. EDT Thursday that explores the various federal resources available to businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The webinar, titled “How the Federal COVID-19 Response Impacts Your Business,” will be presented by IAPMO, the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE), the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA), Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI), the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC), and the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States, Canada (UA).
Code officials, contractors, manufacturers and members of the various organizations are invited to attend the webinar to learn from U.S. Chamber of Commerce experts on the following topics:
“People in every community throughout America, and globally for that matter, are feeling the effects of COVID-19,” said Dain Hansen, IAPMO’s Executive Vice President of Government Relations. “With local, state and federal governments recognizing the plumbing industry as ‘essential’ during this crisis, it is clear that we are on the front lines in protecting public health and safety. To help individuals and businesses during this time, the federal government has passed several economic stimulus packages — with more under consideration. This live presentation will provide our industry with an important understanding of what these resources mean to them, and what they can expect moving forward.”
The webinar is free and open to the public. To register, visit https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/6224025668779143691
