The RONA network of affiliated dealers joined dealer-owners Richard Latreille and Nathalie Solomon on August 22 to celebrate the grand re-opening of their RONA Maloney store in the Gatineau area. Leaders from the RONA Affiliated Dealer Support team, partners and store employees were on site to celebrate the completion of a major renovation project.

In the past year, the owners undertook renovations to add some 4,500 sq. ft. to their store. This new space, now with a total sales area of approximately 12,000 sq. ft., enables the owners to add to their offering in the bathroom and kitchen categories, including appliances, as well as increasing the selection of seasonal products and wood-burning stoves. In total, 1,000 new SKUS have been added to better serve the local population.

Renovation work is still underway to implement the new visual identity designed for RONA affiliated dealers, including updated interior and exterior signage to highlight the unique entrepreneurship, history and community spirit of dealers. Among other things, a new outdoor pylon bearing the words “Dealer Owner” and a new façade are currently being installed.
