Trimble has launched the new Trimble Reality Capture platform, extending its cloud-based collaboration tool, Trimble Connect. This service enables the secure sharing of massive reality capture datasets from 3D laser scanning, mobile mapping, and UAV systems. NetNow, a trade credit automation platform, raised $1.8MM in pre-seed funding led by Ripple Ventures. GPRS of Toledo, Ohio, a leader in infrastructure visualization and data management, has acquired Existing Conditions, a firm specializing in as-built drawings and surveys for the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. The acquisition, finalized on August 1st, allows Existing Conditions to expand its geographic reach and deliver faster project turnaround times while maintaining its high standards and trusted team. The partnership combines GPRS’s national infrastructure expertise with Existing Conditions’ 27 years of experience in 3D laser scanning and drone surveys, enhancing both companies’ service offerings.

Advanced Construction Robotics (ACR) has announced the release of TyBOT 3.0, the third generation of its rebar-tying robot, now available for purchase. Previously offered through a Robot as a Service (RaaS) model, TyBOT 3.0 features enhanced productivity and reliability. A Dodge Construction Network study published in partnership with Dusty Robotics, reveals that 98% of contractors in the U.S. and Canada have experienced significant quality issues, like rework, in the past three years. The report highlights that poor coordination and conflict resolution are major contributors, leading to increased costs and profit margin erosion. While 96% agree that better collaboration improves project outcomes, only a small percentage implement effective strategies. The study emphasizes the need for better tools and collaboration to enhance construction performance.

Pulley has launched an enhanced integration with Procore Technologies, enabling construction teams to submit, track, and manage permits directly within Procore. Connecting with over 19,000 local jurisdictions, this integration helps reduce project delays and paperwork, allowing permits to be obtained up to twice as fast. Brigade, a leader in commercial vehicle safety solutions, has unveiled a refreshed brand identity to reflect its commitment to innovation and AI-driven technology. Founded in 1976, Brigade introduced Europe’s first reversing alarm and continues to pioneer vehicle safety advancements. The rebranding includes a modernized logo, aligning the company’s image with its cutting-edge solutions, such as Fleet Management Services. DIRTT Environmental Solutions has promoted Richard Hunter to President and Chief Operating Officer.
