A Metrolinx report reveals that construction permits are closed for 14 of the 15 stations on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, except the complex Eglinton station. Despite ongoing work since 2011 and delays from design issues, the pandemic, and legal disputes, significant progress includes resolving software defects and track alignment. Tunneling for the west extension is complete, but no opening date is set. Metrolinx will announce the opening three months in advance.
