Nexii Building Solutions, a green-tech company, has been sold in a court-approved bankruptcy sale to Nexiican Holdings Inc. and Nexii Inc. for $500,000, along with the assumption of over $20 million in debt. The new owners, Blake Beckham, a Dallas-based lawyer, and Russ Lambert, president of Nexii Inc., have agreed to take on $22 million in secured debt obligations. This sale follows the de-merger and reacquisition of Omicron Canada by its principals after Nexii’s financial difficulties led to creditor protection. Despite assurances in May from Bill Tucker, then-CEO of Omicron and interim CEO of Nexii, about the continued operation of Nexii’s Squamish manufacturing plant, the future of the plant under the new ownership remains uncertain. The approval and vesting order also requires Nexii to terminate its current employees, though the new owners may extend new job offers.
