As reported on inHalton.com, the ground has been broken on the construction of a new net-zero carbon/energy facility in Burlington.
Endress+Hauser’s new Customer Experience Centre will be located just steps from the company’s existing headquarters in Burlington – 1075 Sutton Dr.
The $28 million expansion will be two storeys tall and hopes to achieve the LEED – leadership in energy and environmental design – Gold certification standard, and to function on a net-zero carbon and net-zero energy basis.
“Last week, I was delighted to attend the ground-breaking event for Endress+Hauser’s expanded business site in Burlington along with many of their employees, leadership team, and fellow local dignitaries,” said Burlington Mayor Marianne Meed Ward in a recent release. “Endress+Hauser has been a part of our city for almost three decades, creating 80 jobs in our community as a global leader in measurement instrumentation, services and solutions.”
